Liber Historiæ Francorum (Book of History of Franks), also met as Gesta Regum Francorum and,
in Freher’s first printing, Gesta Regum Francorum Epitomata. Anonymous, of Neustria; AD 727.
Elaborates Fredegar’s Trojan legend: after the fall of Troy twelve thousand Trojans under Priam and Antenor remove to the Tanais,
settle in Pannonia by the Maeotis, and found Sicambria; and it first names Pharamond (Faramund(us)) as king of the Franks. Whence the later Wardens of this register descend:

Bachrach, Bernard S, ed and tr. Liber Historiæ Francorum. Lawrence, Kansas: Coronado Press, AD 1973. SBN 87291-058-X.
The first English rendering, and by the editor’s own account the first of the whole work in any modern language; translation at pp23–114.
The Trojan matter stands at chapter 1 (p23); Pharamond (Faramund(us)) is raised up as king at chapter 4. English throughout, with one specimen paragraph of the Latin at p115.
